Le nouveau vilebrequin Racing Minarelli Horizontal est le rĂ©sultat d'Ă©tudes et de tests effectuĂ©s par le Bureau Technique et R&D d'Athena, pour obtenir une plus grande rĂ©sistance dans des conditions de travail stressantes, mĂȘme dans les utilisations les plus intensives. ForgĂ© en acier 18NiCrMo5 Ă forte charge de rupture, ce vilebrequin a Ă©tĂ© repensĂ© avec des inserts en aluminium et allĂ©gĂ©, permettant un meilleur Ă©quilibre (plus de 16 000 tr/min). De plus, les vibrations ont Ă©tĂ© supprimĂ©es au profit d'une longĂ©vitĂ© accrue des coussinets, des cales et de la partie thermique. Le vilebrequin est parfaitement adaptĂ© aux kits de cylindres de course d'Athena.
Le vilebrequin de course est disponible avec un trou de pied de bielle pour un axe de 10 mm ou 12 mm et est livré avec une cage de roulement spéciale.
MĂȘme la bielle a Ă©tĂ© repensĂ©e, avec une forme en H et forgĂ©e en acier 18NiCrMo5, augmentant sa rĂ©sistance et sa flexibilitĂ© par rapport Ă celles actuellement sur le marchĂ©.

The Racing Corsa crankshaft is one of the fundamental components for the transmission of movement: its design and production must be carefully taken care of to guarantee maximum performance and reliability.
The new Racing Minarelli Horizontal crankshaft is the result of studies and tests carried out by the Athena Technical and R&D Office, to obtain greater resistance in stressful working conditions, even in the most intensive uses. Forged in 18NiCrMo5 steel with high breaking load, this crankshaft has been redesigned with aluminum inserts and lightened, allowing better balance (more than 16,000 rpm). In addition, vibrations have been eliminated in favor of increased longevity of the bearings, wedges and thermal part. The crankshaft is perfectly matched to Athena's racing cylinder kits.
The racing crankshaft is available with a connecting rod small hole for a 10mm or 12mm axle and comes with a special bearing race.
Even the connecting rod has been redesigned, with an H shape and forged in 18NiCrMo5 steel, increasing its strength and flexibility compared to those currently on the market.
